Abstract: Confucianism, Taoism and chivalry pose important influences to the poetry creation of Qiang’s poet Dong Xiangqin in the modern age. Taoism, Taoist thoughts, celestial Taoist culture in Ancient Shu are deeply deposited in Bashu’s history and culture. Safe and peaceful life, recession and hermitage are Taoist thoughts which are displayed as a spiritual conversion after having been frustrated. The gallantry culture is greatly nurtured in the rich soil of Bashu with a clear context of development.
