Abstract: Based on the panel data of 285 prefecture level cities from 2006 to 2015 in Chinathe spatial STIPAT model was established by introducing the endogenous spatial temporal weight matrices on the basis of the STIPAT modelAnd then this paper examined the spatial spillover effects of urban scale on energy consumption and explored the time transfer effects of spatial spillover effectsThe results showed that the difference of energy consumption between east and west was greater than that between the north and southand there was a significant positive spatial auto correlationThere was a distance threshold for the spatial spillover effect of city size on energy consumptionwhich was 350 kilometersThe empirical of the different regions showed that the spatial spillover effect of urban scale on energy consumption was heterogeneousand the existence of Environmental Kuznets Curve was verifiedFinallyaccording to the above research resultsthis paper proposed the targeted measures to promote the urban energy conservation and emission reductionwhich put forward scientific and reasonable reference for China's construction of modern cities
