From January 28 to 29, 2021, in order to help the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle and strengthen the symbol of the Bashu cultural spirit, Chongqing Cultural Heritage Research Academy invited Sichuan Cultural Relics and Archaeology Research Academy and Chengdu Cultural Relics and Archaeology Research Academy to jointly organize the Bashu Culture Academic Exchange Conference of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle.The conference is divided into two major sections: Bashu Cultural Academic Exchange Conference and Chongqing Archaeological Scientific Research Report Conference, which are conducted simultaneously through online and on-spot methods.
On January 28, 2021, 10 archaeologists from Chengdu and Chongqing shared their latest archaeological discoveries and research results on topics such as the study of Bashu culture in Chengdu and Chongqing, the spread of Han culture in southwest China, and the defense system of Song and Yuan (Mongolian) mountain cities. Experts and scholars from the two cities had in-depth exchanges and discussions, as a result,they deepened their understanding of the Bashu history and culture.
On January 29, 2021, Twelve professional and technical personnel from the Cultural Relics and Archaeology Institute, the Architectural Heritage Research Institute, the Cultural Relics Restoration and Conservation Office, the Storage Department, and the Cultural Relics Information Center of Chongqing Cultural Heritage Research Academy, respectively made reports on archaeological discoveries research, cultural relic restoration and protection and ancient building protection research, etc., achieving the purpose of summarizing the harvest and sharing the results.
